This gentle detox broth was founded by Dr. Harvey Bieler, "a prominent American physician to the Hollywood stars. He was widely recognized as a pioneer in alternative medicine who used non-pharmaceutical, diet-based therapies to cure or control various diseases including asthma, diabetes, and cancer.
Bieler believed that the human body has an inherent capacity for health, and that disease can be cured through proper nutrition. He believed that disturbed function was the result of poor lifestyle, especially consuming improper food, and that disease could be cured through therapeutic diet."

Use this broth as a gentle way to assist the body in cleansing the liver and alkalizing the body. Most foods and beverages in the Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) make our bodies too acidic and sometimes we need to reset our digestive systems and gently cleanse our bodies.
Try adding this broth to your morning routine for a week or a 2-day cleanse using as a meal replacement.

Extra virgin olive oil (or ghee)
Himalayan sea salt
Directions (Instant Pot)
Cut up equal amounts of zucchini squash, green beans (frozen or fresh) and celery.
Transfer all vegetables into instant pot and cover with filtered water.
Set to manual, high for 10 minutes. Let the pot naturally release once complete.
Blend with an immersion blender to a consistency of pea soup or as desired. If you do not have an immersion blender you can transfer small batches to a high speed blender and blend.
Once blended to desired consistency, add small amount extra virgin olive oil (or ghee) and a sprinkle of himalayan sea salt.
Chop up the celery small to avoid stringiness in the soup.
If you do not own an instant pot, this recipe works just fine on the stovetop. Just bring veggies and water to a boil and cook until veggies are soft (about 20-30 minutes) then blend with an immersion blender or high-speed blender.
Feel free to add your own herbs or flavors such as onion, garlic, or ginger!
